chapter four: the agency

the dark room was lit by the florisent lamps and white walls that decorated the treshold of this hallway. it looks endless and forever. This white hallhall gave an eiree hunting aura to her. what demons lie ahead from the time she steps into unfamilair coners.
"follow me" joseph said keeping a stedy pace .trying to be consious of his guest trailing behind.
"where excatly am I?"
"you're somewhere no one knows and where you don't want to know."
"is this what will be you're answer everytime? nothing specific 'just don't ask don't tell'. an i in a military base is that it. i'm in somknid of seacret military base and your the general harnessing some kink of alien power. or maybe your alien. i'm in a spaceship from a galactic race that are idetical to human but diffrent.... "
joseph stopped. eva was startled. he truned around and look into her eyes, like a predetor to it's prey.
"ahh listen! i can't tell you because we're not leagiable of any damages or death to you or your person." he said in a informercial tone of voice.
she could not speak a word so she exhailed to relive her she any wrong doing.
"so, in order you to be safe i can't tell you any thing. moving on"
they took a sharp corner and entered some kind of office. the office looked fasionable. it was chic. the blue suite man was in a front desk of sorts. he stood up and greeted the approching entourge.
"good day!" the man greetted."what can i doo for you."
"yahhhh! i need to see her now." joseph demanded.
" i'm sorry sir she is quite busy at the moment"
" what do you mean?!"
" she has a full shedule until next year but if you would like to shedule a meetting ,i have an opeing of march 15, 2010."
he slammed the desk with an irritated and angryface.
" listen! i know she has nothing to do to day unless i have something for her to work on. so,get here shedule open!"
"hey! you don't have to be rude" the voice said." he programed to with 15 comferting words of apoligy but i still have to fix the rude. he dosen't respond to rude"
in an instant, like the dark room, the semingly chic office was trun into a dark work space filled with computer and collections of sort. thier seated in front of the computer screens was a woman .she had blonde hair and a figure that was big for her size.
"well! seeing that a girl came out of the DOOR, i think that making me a guinia pig for your slaking-accomplice hologram is not the time." he said. " now i need her nationality can you do that?"
the woman sigh and grunted a little. she thought of making a funny reply. but, work is work and working is this place is magical. how knows where she would end-up next time she in an assignment. being a big fan of fantasy, she has been trough the looking glass, almost walk the plank on captain hook's ship and become a scarifice for the tuki-tuki tribe in the heart of africa. being fired is'nt an option.
"ok! does she her passport" the woman said.
"what passport?" eva said." i came here from nowhere and you expcet me to have a passport!"
"no no" he said in a lower voice"not literal passport.do you have any thing that you had ever since? something as an erloam?"
eva thought a while, she held a bracelet. thinking that time her mother gave this golden chain pendent bracelet. it was a sad autumm, her mother was dianose with cancer. and the one thing she though was her dauther. that day the went to the park. the leaves were a cascade of brown and yellow color. she remembered on her 5 year old mind that nothing seems to matter except being with her mother for that day.
"eva" her mother said.
" yes mum?" she said.
"if i leave, will you cry?"
"why will you leave me?" she demanded " i'm not a bad child"
her mother laugh "its just a questions"
"YES" she souted " will cry until my tears run dry but please don't leave me"
her mother laugh again. she took some thing from her pocket.
"HERE!" she said." this is to remember if i leave"
"i won't need it" eva afirmed. "you will stay with me forever and ever"
"just i case" her mother happy with her child's reaction
" ok! but promise you will not leave me" she demanded
" i promise"
at a splite second she took the bracelet from her mother's hand and wore the beautiful bracelet"
"i love you mom!"
"i love you too"
she hug her like any child would hug her mother. as thigh as can. i was the last time she was her well.
"here" eva said. showing in her hand the bracelet. presenting it to the two.
" it would do" the blond woman said. she took the necklace and rush to a computer station near-by. she clip the bracelet in a pair of aligator clips which was connected into a usb port. typing her her way to oblivian. she attempted to access this tinket's data. in a few moments, she was succesful." MS. eva amber keymaker, born july 26 1986, from the world of ...." few clicks more." "hmmm!" joseph poundered." may be after that massive raid of ONE-WAY DOORS,we missed one. do futher research about that warehouse and see to it that we had an inventory of all the ONE-WAY DOORS we have confiscated." he commaned her." and make sure our fiction here is safe ans secure."
eva heared that comment and realize what she is.
"anatela by the way" she extended her hand to eva. but was greeted with a flush face." are you ok!"
"i came from a book" she siad." i came from a book which means i'm fiction. which means i'm not real.i don't exsist.I DON'T EXSIST!!!!!......."
she was histerical. trying to put into context that she came from a book and that her life is an endless meaningless and that she did not exsist. she was not real. anatela tried to calm her down and get her to lie down from a bit. joseph just stand thier, not even make an effort to calm her down.
"PLEACE CALM DOWN!" analeta pleaded.
"EVA!" joseph. eva stop and froze. motionless."do you want a sandwich?"
